This suite of furniture took some time to build. The finish I wish was a little better, some thin areas from shipping but over all good quality and very sturdy, except for rear corner leg which you do not want to stress.

I love the look and setup of this office furniture set. The bookshelf and the filing cabinet were easy to assemble as just one person, but the L-shaped desk and accompanying hutch absolutely require more than two people to assemble and move into place. As it is, when my husband and I tried moving the fully assembled desk into the corner of our office where we wanted it, we ended up cracking the leg in the corner (we patched it up with a lot of duct tape and some extra screws, but I won't be sheltering under this desk in an earthquake, I can tell you that). It took three adults to safely move this into the right place, and even then it was a struggle. I wish the furniture had been designed a bit better so that the leg at the corner of the L was sturdier and the hutch mounted on top of the desk with more support than just a couple of L-brackets. It's fine for now, but if we ever move again, we likely won't be taking this desk with us.

I received my unit and after opening the box I discovered two damaged/cracked pieces to the desk. Of course they were the desktop and side of the desk. I immediately called Bush Industries and they were very nice and states the replacement pieces would be shipped out in a couple of days and they would send me an email with the am tracking information. It has now been 8 days…6 business days and I still have no shipping information. I have also called 3 times and been told that the warehouse is getting it ready to ship. And yet here I am with a hutch and no desk to set it on. Frustrated to say the least! The collection is beautiful but if you have damage and need replacement parts, you may run into the same issues I’m having.

I like that I found a functional office desk. I got frustrated with all the "modern day" office furniture being just a simple table top with legs. I am glad my daughter found this for me. The L shape model allows me to have my work computer and personal computer easily accessible. Plenty of storage space, but I bought the file cabinet and shelf anyway. I liked the shelf so much that I bought another. It did take me over 7 hours to assemble everything. Not difficult, just time consuming. My only complaint is that the slide out keyboard piece is too small to hold my keyboard, mouse pad, and wrist pad. Just an inch or two added to the width and depth would be soooo much better.

The edges of the desk have come apart. Edges chip easily by just rubbing your elbows against it. Had to use super glue on the rest of the desk edges that were beginning to come apart. This desk costs way to much for that to be happening. Haven't had the desk put up but 3 weeks. The warranty doesn't cover that. I am disappointed. It "looks" great in my home office. Just cant let my relatives look at it for too long or they'll notice the poor quality. I refuse to tell them how much it costs.
