The people who rated this paddle lowly didn't know what they were buying. This is a beginner level TRADITIONAL PENHOLD paddle. That means that the paddle is meant to have a "short handle.” This type of handle, the added space between the rubber and the handle, and the lack of rubber on the other side help you use the traditional penhold grip.This is a cheap paddle meant for beginners and hobbyists, so the quality and price are perfect.

The best paddle I’ve ever played!!!!! Any of my friends can’t beat me with it. They can use any other brand of paddle like “ Tiga” and I still beat them easily with a large margin.
