  • BUTTERFLY TABLE TENNIS TABLES - The Personal Butterfly Ping Pong Table has a 3 year warranty
  • THICK PING PONG TOP – Unlike other low quality tables, this has a 19mm thick top for a better bounce
  • FOLDABLE PING PONG TABLE – This ping pong table folds and rolls to your storage area
  • PLAYBACK MODE - Play table tennis without a partner with one half vertical

The Butterfly Personal 19 Rollaway Table Tennis Table is the standard size, nine feet long by five feet wide. The deep green, nineteen millimeter playing surface is made of Chipboard, which is less prone to warping than its MDF counterpart. The net set is the regulation six inches in height and is ‘Hassle-Free’, as it remains fixed to the table at all times so there is no need to attach or remove it each time you play. The Personal 19 has a convenient accessory holder on both sides of the table for racket and ball storage. The top is strengthened by a 1½” rail which is supported by 1” round legs. At 170 pounds, the table is light in weight, and with the assistance of the five-inch wheels, it effortlessly folds and rolls into the playback or storage position. When raised, the tops secure into place via a dual ‘Locking Lever’ system. The storage profile is 74" tall x 71" long x 25" wide. The Personal 19 is made in Germany and comes with a three-year warranty against manufacturer defects. The table is approved by USA Table Tennis for sanctioned tournament play.

I ordered the table and it came delivered in less than a week. Been playing on the table for a few days and it is great. Very durable, easy to fold up and put a way and looks nice. My only negative comments is the directions could be a lot better written and the nuts and bolts did not accommodate a standard socket set which would of made putting the table together much quicker. It took approx. 3.5 Hours for two people to put together. All and all, I do recommend this product and I would of given it a 5 Star with the exception of the challenge of the installation.

Bought this for our homeowner association's rec room. The delivery driver arrived two days earlier than the estimated schedule, without having called beforehand, but fortunately I was home and spotted the truck. He and I brought the very large box right into the room. A smart 13 year old and I assembled it in about 2 hours. It's really important to carefully read the instructions (mostly diagrams), and we found it extremely helpful to lay out and identify (with post-its) all the parts first.I'm totally pleased with the design, engineering and quality. The storage for paddles and balls is a great feature. The bounce and net seem just fine too. It's a huge improvement over the old table. As another reviewer noted, it takes more than bare hands to get the axle caps on the wheel axles. Also, when first set up, the two table halves did not align properly, but a little nudging and yanking corrected that. The only significant problem we had was that one of the 180+ parts was missing; only three of the four plastic parts were in one of the plastic bags. The part is important for safety reasons when the table halves are upright for storage, but we were able to otherwise complete the assembly. Amazon offered to replace the whole table, which seemed like overkill. They offered another alternative, to provide me the distributor's contact info, which they did via email. The distributor is mailing the missing part, so all should be well.

Most of the 18 prior reviewers seems to think the table was pretty easy to put together, and maybe it is if your of average handyness. Fortunately, you have me to give another perspective, the kind of person who, when putting stuff together, frequently has to go back two steps because he screwed something on backwards. While this review is mainly for those in the same boat and not for handy folks, hopefully it has a little something for everyone. Ok, installation:(1) just diagrams, essentially no words. Diagrams are confusing at times. For example, there was a diagram with 4 steps listed on a single page, and I thought they were all connected -- but no, steps 3 and 4 were to be done on another similar part and not part of a sequence with 1 and 2, where the part for steps 3 and 4 was slightly different from the part in steps 1 and 2. With my wife helping, there was a minimal degree of messing up a step and going backwards, but we still had a good amount of headscratch/debate time;(2) screws are organized too frustrate you. For example, 3 sizes of screw, 40, 50 and 55 mm are in the same bag, unmarked, mixed together. While that would be bad enough, there are 2 separate bags with these 3 screw types mixed together. Maybe there is a reason for that (one bag for each table half?) but since there are no words on the directions who knows? The directions have a little measuring thing, so your supposed to sort the screws yourself. There are also two similar looking types of washers that need to be unsorted, and my wife was having trouble telling them apart.(4) there was one place where it tells you to use your hands to get a metal end cap to stay on. Maybe if you have Paul Bunyan hands, but otherwise a hammer is needed. If your like me, getting the confidence to do something not in the directions takes a while;(5) there was one step where 2 large pieces of metal are supposed to overlap perfectly so you can screw them in. After 10-15 minutes, I realized I had done everything 100% correct and was convinced there was a manufacturing defect. Although I was entirely convinced it wouldnt work, somehow hammering did fix the problem.(6) net is a little frustrating to set up -- I got the net firm and stable, but I had to play with it to get that, and I dont think I did it right. Still, its stable and works fine.On the plus side, my wife and I *were* able to put the table together, and if we can do it, you probably can too, no matter how weak your skills. Sure it took us 4 solid hours, and it would have been longer if we werent stopping each other from making mistakes, but its done, and it looks like we did it right.Table itself seems of good quality (with the possible exception of the net, though after playing with the net its been stable for months), just knocking it down 2 stars for installation.Tip for the weak: If your not real strong and have steps, just open the box in your garage and carry the table halves separately. Also allows for easier manuevering to get it around corners and such. Worked well for us, and we are on the weaker side of normal.Random observation: While the table folds up really easily with no strength required, it doesnt make a perfect backboard for practicing by yourself as there is a pretty big gap between the upright table and the bottom table, meaning you'll lose balls into the gap. An advanced beginner and up can still practice that way, but its not viable for beginning kids -- the gap will eat too many balls. Still, the easy fold-up is an obvious plus, and I have no idea if there are tables that fold-up without gaps.

Just got this table two days ago and finally assembled it today. This is a great table. 3/4th inch top really gives a great bounce (which may take a few days to get adjusted to, if you have been playing on sub-par to decent tables). Surface is great, the blue color is nice, and really like the way it folds up and easy to maneuver. Very nicely made, looks and feels strong, something which will last a long time and doesn't look cheap (NOT MADE IN CHINA).Assembly takes about 90-100 minutes, but you need two people. Instructions aren't the best, it's annoying to measure the screws to figure out which screws go where and you need proper tools. The net seems iffy, I'm guessing it was just my order. It came a little ripped and I'll be contacting amazon to figure out what to do about it.If you are looking for a nice professional table, this is it.Update: The shipping cost on this item dropped from $70 to Free after 3 weeks from the date of purchase. I contacted amazon about this, and they wouldn't refund me and offered me $5. I always felt Amazon was the best place to shop online. Also found out that there is no price protection if you buy any product from Amazon. Really disappointed.
