I was a new pétanque player when I bought these. Later I asked the vendor how much they weighed in grams and the diameter. The reply said they weighed 1.66 pounds, which is conveniently 10 pounds divided by six boules, and neglected the diameter. Quality boules have a precise weight measured in grams and a specific diameter. I bought a scale and weighed these boules. Each set of three varied significantly in weight. Again, okay for casual backyard play, but nowhere near acceptable quality for serious players.
