Took off old delta lock. Replaced with this new one. You will need Rivets 1/2". Need to drill a few new holes. And drill out rivet on the Latch ATM. Slightly different Latch when compared side by side but worked perfectly. Fit cut out perfect. Happy I bought it.

The price for this is hard to beat for the quality. no flimsy this steel here. I feel this will last for a long time. I used this in a custom cargo box build and if I were to make any complaints, the mounting holes could be spaced away from the housing about 1/4" more so the cutout in the sheet steel I mounted it to had a little more material on it between the mounting holes and the cutout for the recessed portion.

Fixed up a better built tool box I got for free from my friends dad who got a Campershell. My tool box had no keys and was always unlocked and where I work is not in a particularly good area. So peace of mind when I can say these replaced the oldLatches perfectly and now I can lock my tool box. They even have a seal on the back of them so when you rivet them in it seals out water.

They seem like good quality they have a gasket. Mounting them is pretty simple. I am returning them. Just mainly because the way it locks. It's just a pain in it but to the locking system. when you lift the latch it barely clears you got to be very precise on installing it into a door on a trailer. Just not overly happy with the way they latch

The pad latch is good, but first time keyed the key broke in the lock, had to replace the lock with the old lock. The keys are very flimsy.

My original latch was disabled in an accident. Because of the price, I took a chance on this latch and my expectations weren't too high. However, it fit perfect in my Better Built trailer tongue tool box and it's worked great. From what I've seen this latch seems to be a standard size.For installation, I simply drilled out the rivets and installed the new latch with nuts and bolts. I cut the bolts to fit with my Dremel as you can see in the pics.I would highly recommend this latch for anyone who has a need where it will fit.

Arrived in less than 48 hours !Worked perfect on my tool box .I was not able to determine a name brand on my box but these worked perfect .Just had to drill the old rivets to remove the old latch and install the new one with new rivets .My box has 2 lids and 2 locks so I did not have any pushrods to deal with .Both of my new locks are keyed the same .Each came with 2 keys , so I actually have 4 keys now .I did not even have to do any adjustments on mine .Looks great too !I am very happy with the purchase .
