It comes already assembled and is constructed from zinc-plated steel for added corrosion resistance. The latch is spring-loaded with a hold-open feature. The plunger retracts into housing when the handle is lifted to 90°.

Got tired of fighting the pin to hold my tilt bed trailer down. So I bought one of these! I had to build up the base to bolt it to,, and it works like a charm! Love it!
