A 15 and a 3 year old niece and nephew loved having their daily treat or toy. Not all compartments are the same size. Found small cars, ornaments, candies, gift cards to put inside. I am sure it will be an annual thing.

Extremely well made! All wood! Very nicely painted. And the numbers are NOT in order, which makes it fun to find the dates. The boxes are big enough for some size-able gifts. It's definitely a family heirloom.Very pleased with this item.

This darling Christmas calendar is perfect for displaying in your home during the holidays. Children love it and the hidden compartments are big enough to put some larger things in. It comes with a nice sturdy box to store it into . It is very sturdy and it is very colorful. Great quality. I’m so happy I purchased it for my grandchild.

I ordered the Christmas tree advent calendar. It's beautiful, colorful, and well made. Each and every door opens and closes smoothly. The space behind each door is spacious, so you could, for example, fit two well-sized chocolate truffles in many, or 4-5 hard candies in others. The price may seem a bit high, but the calendar is so well made that it'll last for many, many years.

Seems like a good solid quality Advent calendar but the front is a stick-on picture and I'm not sure if it will hold up over a few years. I guess time will tell.

Came without a box damaged. Shipped from Las Vegas so a hassle to return. The advent calendar itself is beautiful so a real disappointment because it was going to be a Christmas present for my granddaughter. Amazon was very good about refunding the money.

I bought this for my 4 year old daughter in lieu of those cardboard advent calendars that you get at the grocery store with the cheap tasting chocolate - I wanted something I could fill for her year after year. It is stellar quality and I couldn't be happier! When it arrived, I was surprised by how large it is. It measures about 20" tall and comes in a very sturdy reusable box to store it in. It's made of high quality wood and is incredibly sturdy, so it will become a family heirloom that'll last for many years. The printed pictures on the front showcase a beautiful old world Christmas tree decorated with ornaments and lots of toys under the tree.There are 24 numbered doors with wooden tabs to open them and what I thought was really cool is that the tabs are actually part of the picture. For example, one of the tabs is the bow on a present and another is a nutcracker on the tree. The numbers are out of order and you have to find the right door for each day, which my daughter has fun looking for. I am incredibly happy that each door has a depth of about 2 inches so you can fit a wide variety of things in it and not just tiny candies like other fillable calendars I've seen. Each door has the same depth, but they vary in width. I've attached a photo of my calendar all filled so you can see the variety of items I put in it. Some things I put in were large and small sized Tsum Tsums, My Little Pony figures, Shopkins, change for her piggy bank, Hershey kisses, Barbie outfits/shoes, blind bags, a necklace, and fun size M&Ms to name a few.I didn't like the high price for the calendar, but I love that I can customize it with things she'll like and that we can reuse it every year. The superior quality is well worth the $75 I paid for it and the years of use to come. This is definitely top of the line and you won't be disappointed.

Good quality build and pretty much what I expected. The wood is particle board though so not being real wood cheapens the product but you cant tell by looking at it and it is not cardboard and it looks great. Doors will hold mini candybars which is the plan. I'm happy with it but I think 85 bucks is a bit much for the thing.
