This is our 2nd musical calender. I have trained our puppies to jump out of bed & come running for treats when they hear the music!! So cute & special. It was packaged better that our 1st one keeping all doors closed when we pack away.

After much research, we chose this advent calendar to house our 24 wooden train cars and it is perfect! Very solid wood and excellent quality. The compartments are very roomy and equal sized and it plays different Christmas songs every time you open a door.

For the price I would have liked to see a little more "zing" ; it's cute but sort of plain and I think child would be more enchanted with some added features beside music.

I bought this as what I thought would be a family heirloom to use for years to come. My son had just been born and I wanted something that I thought would last through many years. I used it for a year and everything was great. The second year when I put batteries in it it didn’t initially turn on...I thought maybe the batteries were low. I messed with them and the calendar started to work. This year it wouldn’t turn on at all. This is the third year of ownership. I wrote them an email and asked them if they had a repair facility or if they would be able to replace something that was advertised as a “sure to be family heirloom”? Their response was that they have a one year warranty. They don’t have a repair center because the product is made “over seas” (Taiwan). They said there was nothing they could do and wished me a merry Christmas. I would avoid this company at all costs. Go buy a product from a company that will stand behind What they make. I will be looking for a new “family heirloom” and it will not be from this company.

I really purchased this treasure for myself even though it was a Christmas present for my grandchildren.I had been waiting for an affordable price for a few years. The children love it.
