These TIMCO C2 Strong-Fix screws are hands down some of the best multi-purpose woodscrews I’ve used. I’ve gone through a fair few brands over the years for DIY and carpentry work, and these stand out for both quality and performance.The twin-cut point bites into the wood quickly and reduces splitting—especially handy when working close to edges or with thinner timber. I’ve used them on softwood, MDF, and even a bit of chipboard, and they haven’t let me down once.The lubricated coating really makes a difference when driving them in. Less resistance means less wear on my drill bits and faster work overall. And the deep Pozi recess holds the bit firmly, so no annoying cam-outs mid-screw.Also worth mentioning: the countersunk head sits flush, giving a clean finish every time.
