These are a little pricey, but they are worth it. They hold the weight nice and tight and the add another 5.2 pounds to your weight. The only complaint is that the part of the collar that clamps down is smooth which can cause it to slide on the bar. To remedy this I took some padded rubber and neoprene blend tape and applied it the the internal clamp mechanism. This made it fit very tightly and it no longer slides. I love these for my heavy lifts and it makes the whole bar feel more secure. Recommend if you not just a casual lifter.

They are 2.75 OD. They are 2 inches deep, so for dumbell handles they they take up too much space to fully load the dumbell. They are very heavy duty and solid! They work great for the long bars. I wouldn't have bought them if I knew the dimensions, because I wanted them for my dumbell set.

These are SUPER HEAVY DUTY. Thats what I liked about them the most and the reason why I didn't return them. I was going to return them because I constantly had to re-tighten them after every deadlift. I am not the type to drop my weights. When I deadlift, I place my weights down after every repetition, so the loosening did not occur because of dropping my weights. It was a hassle having to re-tighten over and over but I figured out a way around this. I used a rubber-coated weight plate at the ends and this was the only way these collars stayed put. When I had uncoated steel plates at the end, this is when the collars would loosen. I'm glad I figured a way to keep them tight because I didn't want to return these heavy-duty collars.
