My Trane XV-95 furnace had been erratic for a long time, throwing the 3 flash code, and this Honeywell BA20149 pressure switch fixed the issue. What was going on is that the heating cycle would start and most of the time work flawlessly, but would sometimes need to cycle numerous times before registering the proper vacuum necessary to turn on the gas and igniting. Specifically, the inducer would start blowing, but sometimes the pressure switch wouldn't work properly, and this caused the inducer to shut off before opening the gas valve and delivering heat.
