I have a Xerox Workcentre 6605 that had started to leave black streaks on the copies. A Google search suggested that it might be time for the drum unit to be replaced, so I began searching for one. Unfortunately, because it's an older MFP, I didn't find a whole lot of listings and those I did find were for refurbished or rebuild parts. Even on the Xerox website, the set of four drums was over $200 before shipping. The man I spoke to at Xerox wasn't much help. Considering the age of the MFP, I didn't want to invest that much in this repair. Plus, the cost of a new Epson or laser printer might be a better option if it included newer Wifi capabilities and printing options. To add, I also have plenty of toner remaining for this MFP to just dump it.After installing the new black drum and printing a few test copies, the black toner began to darken again and the smudges slowly faded. I also took a crumpled sheet of paper and wiped down the glass, doors and rollers to pick up any loose toner which might be causing marks. Now it's printing almost good as brand new and I'm back to work. Glad to find the single black drum and to be able to save the money by using Prime shipping instead of the outrageous shipping and handling fees charged by other retailers now.

The product is well packaged, easy to install and prints pretty well
