Troubleshooting Methods
- Could be caused by battery loose. Please remove the battery and try to install more than once.
- May be due to conductive material damaged which the laptop motherboard and battery anode and cathode contact position, you can try to confirm it with your original battery.
- Check whether the battery drive is in normal condition, if not, download the corresponding driver software to update.
- Take out the battery and press the power button for about 15 seconds to consume the internal residual power (Do not connect the power cord), and then reinstall the battery. You can try several times. a long time, charge it to about 50%.

I finally had time to install this, and now I'm concerned. My charger and the battery are getting REALLY HOT. It was easy to install. I followed the instructions for the first multiple times I charged and discharged the battery, but once charged, it's only lasting 2.5 to 3 hours. I'm going to have to find a different brand to replace this one with, because I can't take a chance of t catching fire.

Purchased battery to replace the factory original. When installed the computer slowed down and was unable to connect to wifi. Computer would not connect online even when hardwired to the modem. I put the factory original battery back in and it works just fine.I would have messaged the seller instead of posting this review, but it was not an option. I purchased the battery about 6 weeks ago, so I presume my tardiness of assessing the battery performance was to blame.

Ordered this replacement back in June and I’m already having to replace it. I use my laptop often and leave it off the charger for good battery cycles, only charge it when I need to and that didn’t help at all with longevity. It now won’t charge past 5% and won’t stay powered on without being plugged in.

Ordered this and had it installed. It lasted about 3-4 months before it no longer holds any charge at all. I very rarely used my laptop off it's charging cord either. The laptop ran by itself on this battery maybe 5 times at most. No options for a replacement.
