*UPDATE*It's been less than 2 months and the scratching posts are worn down to bare cardboard in several spots.This is Talbot and he has never met a cat tree he could not break. He is 3 years old and this is our 5th cat tree. I have always looked for trees that say heavy duty or that can support cats who weigh up to 25 pounds. He weighs 12 pounds and we also have a tiny girl who weighs 6. I bought this one because I am hoping since it is a little shorter it might be a little sturdier. We have previously had a 7 foot and a 6 foot. This one wobbles a little bit. It does have an option to clamp to the wall but I can't do that. So instead I have weighed down the bottom by sliding in a 30 pound jug of cat litter. The extra weight makes it less tipsy. He is enjoying the scratching posts and running up and down. It took about an hour to put it together, including unboxing all the parts. Time will tell if it lasts longer than our previous trees.

Extremely easy to put together! The fabric is so soft, too. Both of my cats absolutely love this cat tree! They’re 9 (DSH) and 6 (Siberian Forest Cat Mix) years old. It’s easy for them to navigate. The older has claimed the hammock as his bed, while the younger one sleeps in the top. The cat tree is sturdy! The younger cat is 14 lbs and jumps quickly up the tree with minimal swaying from the stand.

Excellent Cat Tree! Could not have asked for anything better (especially for the price!). My two Bombay kittens truly love it ... and so do I! All the "Gen X" or new trees look very nice (and can cost thousands!) but I know cats! Those "look chic" trees are just that - to look "good/rich"... Not made for real Cats! This one with it's nooks & crannies, privacy apts. (2!), soft & comfy material, swing toys & safe, stable look-outs is PERFECT! It will Not Fall Over ... And my 2 best friends adore the padded top bed! Beautiful!

Our cats love this cat tree! It was pretty easy to put together. Took me about 20 mins.... maybe less! Great price and lots of room for our cats to play!
