Inexpensive fix for my outdoor temp sensor. I had no clue if this would be compatible with my system as I didn't find a replacement part number with my owner's manual and chose to take a chance. it was an easy task to cut the broken sensor wires and hand twist the new sensor wires outside the house. Worked immediately and returned my system to it's original specs.

Easy install at the Heat pump control outside and used existing thermostat wiring to connect. Now I have better control of the Heat Pump and Aux Heat set point in cooler weather. It shows on the thermostat Temperature and Humidity at the Heat pump control area where I placed it. FYI the sun may greatly affect the temp showing but I use it for cooler weather operation on the heat pump. Installed with the Honeywell 8000 thermostat.

I bought it for a new Heat Pump. It did not come with a mounting bracket (as advertised) and the price was the best on Amazon. My A/C contractor made the bracket by himself and it was very easy to do. I am using the Heat Pump for almost 2 months and the sensor works great so far.
