The gun does not come with a paint filter in the can or a paint tube. Gun does not work without them

This gun costs substantially less than comparable guns with the same quick connect fitting. Instead of paying almost what the whole turbine unit cost just for another gun, I opted for the cheaper replacement gun to get me by. It sprays great right out of the box. HOWEVER, not all internal components are stainless. The entire pickup tube is brass, it will corrode and turn your finish green. It doesn’t come with a pickup tube filter, which is fine because it’s basically a universal screen filter, but expect to buy one of those. Essentially, once the pickup tube corrodes (i.e. after cleaning with any type of mild abrasive pad or brush) it basically contaminates all finish put into the gun from that point on. White is now green/blue tinged, clear isn’t fully clear etc…The gun is basically useless now. You get what you pay for.

Haven't used yet. Doesn't click onto old hose completely. Asked for advice a while back. Haven't heard back. Shopping other sites for better quality connector to switch out.UPDATE: May 2023 Still haven't heard back yet.UPDATE: FEB 2025 Still haven't heard back yet.

This replacement spray gun works better than the original Fuji spray gun for my turbine sprayer. I only used it to spray water base sealer & top coat clear. I haven't tried spraying water-based stain. Most likely I would have to use the smaller tip & needle to 1.2 or 1.3 that I've purchased in the past for the Fuji sprayer. Hopefully they fit. I spray cabinets but I wouldn't spray water-based paints with this spray gun & Fuji turbine.

This gun is amazing. Complete and have nothing less than better quality compared with the leading brand/ similar which it is a compatible fit! Very light reliable and easy to handle, to use and clean!Got one and and have had a blast while working with it.You can find different needles to adapt too.The best in it all was the service. I've had a small issue that was solved by an email to the supplier which was fast and very friendly!Now i'm browsing through their store and discover a lot more options of related products.Personally i recommend Total Finishing Supplies. These guys are The Pros!!
