I like the idea of these cord organizers, but the execution leaves a lot to be desired. Strangely, nothing identifies the material the holders are made of, but the machining or molding seems to have left rough edges that a) make it tough to pull the cord through the hole, and b) make me nervous the cable insulation is getting scraped and worn. I'm already seeing signs of wear on the cable.If these could only be used with thin, smooth cables, and they said so, that would be one thing, but the product photos include a similar braided/textured cable to the one I'm trying to use.Also, weirdly, the double-sided adhesive disks are loose in the outer product packaging, rather than included in the tiny individual bags with each of the cable holders. They're transparent, and one fell out. If I hadn't noticed, I might never have seen it again.The pieces do unscrew and assemble as described, and the adhesive disks do seem adequate to secure the holders in place, so this gets two stars instead of one.

I was looking for a stylish way to manage a few cords on my kiddos nightstand that kept messing with the curtains. I wanted a magnetic cord organizer, and based on the description these cord organizers seemed to fit that bill.HOWEVER, please note that these are NOT magnetic. For me it wasn't a complete waste of time or money since it does come with screws for wall and ceiling installation, and round double-sided stickers for flat surfaces. Be careful not to throw those stickers out. They are just floating around in the bag.Initially, I used the sticker but it didn't stick that great to the metal surface. I ended up installing using a screw and affixing it to the wall. I think the result is just as good if not better than what I needed for organizing the cords in my specific scenario, but I bring it up since it wasn't the initial plan that I had in mind and I had to change that plan because this product was described incorrectly (I hope that makes sense).As for the quality and the design, it has a sturdy feeling but there is a slight cheapness to it. I think it's the paint because it looks like it might chip off at some point. Also, the screwing on of the cap should be done before applying the sticker to the wall--it will pop right off if you do it after. I'd suggest getting a different adhesive sticker though. You wouldn't have that issue then.All in all, it looks nice but was not what I was expecting. For now, it will function well for my needs. Im happy enough with it but I would recommend a different cord organizer to someone else.

These cable organizers come in three colors (black, gold, silver), so this review is for the black. I've got a separate review for the silver / gold.I grabbed these for use in my workshop, where I've got several small power cables and a couple of USB charging cables that I need to get out of the way and off the floor where they keep getting stepped on or otherwise damaged. They look to be made of aluminum, which is great for the shop...should be much more durable than plastic. The black appears to be painted on pretty thin, as I can see a bit of overspray on the inside when opened up; be aware that it might be fairly easy to nick it and expose base metal. This is no big deal for me since it's in a shop, but might be a consideration if you're looking to use it around the house.The caps SCREW on; they are not magnetic. Again...doesn't bother me a bit, just wanted to note it since the description clearly says "magnetic cable management". This IS NOT magnetic.They come with several small discs of double-sided tape for mounting, but be aware that the discs are clear and VERY easy to overlook. I initially thought they'd not included the double-sided tape, until I happened to barely see one on the counter-top. Looked around and found several more...apparently I'd dumped them out without even noticing. The pack also included a small wood screw and plastic wall anchor, in case you want to mount with a screw instead of double-side tape. I didn't see this mentioned in the description, but is what I actually used for mountng in my shop.Overall, I'm very pleased with these cable organizers for my use. The black "industrial" look is a good fit for the shop, and I'm confident they will last a long time. Good purchase!

Absolutely love these. I used them in my bedroom and attached them to the side of our nightstand for our phones and tablet cords. Unlike other clips these screw closed and hold the cords in place really well so it’s locked in without squeezing the cords. The adhesive is super strong too, and has pulled away or broken even though I tug on them all the time. They look classy too and blend in with furniture handles that you don’t even notice them. I used cord holders in the past and these are my absolute favorite.
