Durable steel cable with a good length for securing bikes or gates. Flexible enough for easy wrapping, and the hook and loop fasteners help with storage. Lightweight but feels sturdy.

This bicycle lock and cable seem to be made well from what I can tell. Since there is a plastic casing on the lock for weather resistance, it’s impossible to see exactly how the lock is made though.The cable is nice and thick and is also encased in plastic, like most cables for this purpose are. There doesn’t appear to be much of a negative thing to say about this set. Though, like most any lock and cable set, it likely won’t stop anyone with any real determination. Still, it is a great deterrent. I’d recommend it for anyone that has a bike that needs a bit of protection while you’re away.

This is a really nice lock. The cord that is attached to it is pretty heavy duty and the lock itself is actually a bit heavy. Overall a good product for the money you'll spend on it.

This is a very nice braided steel cable with plastic coating. It is quite thick for braided steel, thicker than most you find on the shelf at home reno stores. It would be ideal for a bike if it was longer, I usually use longer cables so I can lock the front and back wheels without having to remove the front wheel. The lock is heavy duty, it is large and heavy. It is coated in weatherproof plastic to protect it. I can't dock the seller for it being only 4 feet as it is clearly labelled so on amazon. This can be used for locking other things, such as tools, barbecues, boat motors, etc.
