DO NOT RECCOMEND. I installed this on a 2005 Brute Force for the hand brake. Should have known by the price to stay away from this. Spent 2 days spraying lube into this so it would be good for at least a year or two but the boot that is used on this company's cable is very much of garbage quality as nothing I did got it to seat properly. I've had to replace the hand brake cable before but always got another original from Kawasaki. However, not having a trustworthy dealership near me, I gave in & thought I'd try Amazon. I don't blame them as I'm the 1 who clicked order. Anyway, these cables can be very frustrating to replace with how Kawasaki designed the whole rear brake setup. But, between the poor quality boot included & with how flimsy the end of the cable where that gabage boot goes, I simply can't seem to get it adjusted right either. I'm just going to have to leave it so loose that the hand brake barely works so it doesn't drag & wear out the discs inside the brake assembly itself. Thankfully the foot brake, which is all factory equipment, still works just fine.
