I have an old Patton "milk house" style heater that the thermostat contacts burned up. Looked for an OEM replacement and they are not to be found. Took a chance that this one would work and it works perfectly. Yes it does not have tip over protection but I never use it unattended.

This bimetal thermostat worked well for an oil filled type electric radiator heater. I could not find the exact replacement but this thermostat looked identical. It fit perfectly and the existing knob fit. The new thermostat cycles the electric heater to maintain the room temperature.
