The secret to easy demolding of the cake mold:
- Before adding the cake liquid, the molds need to be oiled or use cooking spray.

Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of silicone cake molds. I find them to be kind of “wobbly” and not the easiest to work with. But.. . You can’t really make unique designs like this with metal molds. . . So. . . I’ve learned to work with them. You have to make sure you place them on a cookie sheet before filling. You can not only use this as a cake mold, but a gelatin mold as well. It’s a bit short. I wish it were an inch or so higher. But you can add layers underneath if desired.This mold is Made in China and being sold by a Chinese company on Amazon.

When I ordered this silicone rose mold I guess I half expected some sort of recipe or directions, or suggestions.... nothing. It's exactly as described, nothing more. Will do some research and look forward to experimenting.MAGICAL ROSE CAKE MOLD
