Nice unit, I armored the leads to clean up. Unit is designed to trip a relay/solenoid not the starter. Some bad reviews were hooked up wrong!Great value!

That's what's matter with it the connector wires are entirely too small fell apart as soon as I hooked it up one time push the button it fell apart the button works but the wire connectors are too small

I purchased for my generator. Clipped to the solenoid. When button depressed, not work and got hot. This is a 12volt with starter and solenoid. If won't crank it small brings and Stratton, I can only imagine trying to remote start a 4cyc., let alone s 6cyc or V8
