I got this for my niece and nephew (3 and 5), but before I could even get it to them my own son (2) got ahold of it and won’t let me put it back in the box — he loves it!This is a pretty solid toy. The money is the same quality as what you’d find in a popular real-estate board game (my last review got rejected, guessing mentioning the game name is why). The coins are plastic but durable. And again, kids love it.If I’m ever able to pry it away from my toddler, I’m sure this cash register is gonna make a great gift!

Got this for a 5 year old as a gift and they had a blast with it, I definitely recommend for a similar age. Needs 3 AA batteries, which are not included, but its for the sound effects and microphone which were the features that seemed to be the most fun. Fair warning, this toy will test your patience(the sounds are loud and it has no volume control) but its worth it to see the joy it brought. Besides that, the included fake money is the next best feature. Kids love fake money but it was also a great learning tool as the fake money very closely resembles real US money. Enough so that my child may or may not believe they are filthy rich now. Final warning, the fake coins are fairly size accurate, definitely a choking hazard so I don't recommend for smaller kids!

Cute, colorful and so easy to set up you don’t need to refer to the instructions except to see where to attach the microphone. Which by the way is a really nice touch. It’s a working microphone just like a cashier uses to make store announcements over the PA. The cash register has a real calculator with a digital display. The credit card and paper money is realistic looking. You can swipe the credit card and the cash register even beeps when you swipe. This works wonderfully as an aid for teaching children math or as a toy .

This is so fun! My kids were AMAZED with how realistic it looks! The microphone is so fun, they love making store announcements.Money looks realistic , and it all works well. No complaints from my house 🙂
