Exactly what i was looking for. Thick, but not too thick. Heavy, but not too heavy. Warm under a weighted blanket, and perfect by itself in warmer weather. Very well made and extremely comfortable. The best all-around linens I own. Going to order some additional colors when I need more sheets. Excellent purchase.

Best quality and soft/smooth cotton sheets on Amazon. Forget about Egyptian cotton, this is softer than all the many fake Egyptian cotton sheets that are all from China here on Amazon. California Design is award winning because it is very high quality. Their 1000TC is the highest quality of any cotton available on Amazon, and probably the only good cotton (Egyptian or not) option on Amazon. You would pay twice or three times the amount for this quality at a specialty store. I'm so happy with California Design. Made in India and made very well.

I purchased 3 sets of these sheets. The first king size set I purchased was terrific. They held up great after washing and drying multiple times. The cotton material was thick, comfortable and very nice. This set is used in our master bedroom.I liked them so much, a couple of months later I purchased a queen set and a short while later purchased a split king set. These sets were for guest bedrooms - not rooms we use every night. After washing and drying them a couple of times the queen and king fitted sheet ripped in multiple places, not the corners where you might expect. The queen flat sheet ripped and one of the king pillow cases ripped as well. They didn’t rip at the seams which is what I would have expected..I was so disgusted I tossed them in the trash: a total waste of money!I don’t understand why the last two sets were so bad when the first set was awesome and is still holding up fine. I should have sent them both back, but it was passed the 30-day window.Anyway, just thought I’d share my experience with these sheets: if the last two sets held up as well as the first set I would have given a 5 star review. Under the circumstances, I’m hard pressed to even give a 1 star review since they ripped so bad and couldn’t be salvaged.

I love these so much that it's my second set. They are thick, soft and really well made. I wish they made other colors and pillow cases that you can buy separately because this brand would be the only one in my house. As it is, I just use these and go back and forth between the 2 sets. Worth every penney.

We bought the Sage Green king-size set, and the color is soft sagey green, not too dark, and not too light. These sheets' smooth "sateen" texture is a pleasant, comfortable feel. I believe they will become even softer with future washing, and I always use a liquid fabric softener on all of our laundry. We have a 14-inch-thick mattress, so getting a fitted sheet with elastic all around the bottom edges that fits easily on all four corners for me to put on (without a lot of tugging and pulling) was extremely important to me. I love the "Top/Bottom" tags very much. We also bought extra standard-size pillowcases, and the extra pillowcases match the sheet set perfectly. These sheets are well-made and of very good quality. I am very happy with them, and so is my husband.

Smooth and soft, heavy cotton but keeps you cool at night. Comes out of the dryer virtually wrinkle free. Very heavy duty elastic on all 4 sides of fitted sheet

Well made, very comfortable and a perfect fit for my pillow top mattress. Easy to wash and the softness feels great. Keeps you warm without making you sweat.

So many of the sheet sets on Amazon have negative reviews just like this set has. I just received mine and unpacked them and they are currently in the washing machine. I cannot speak to their durability or actual comfort as yet, but what I can attest to is that the set I received certainly appears to be the 1,000 thread count as advertised. They felt very substantial to me as they went into the laundry. I have only slept on 1,000 TC or higher sheets since I discovered their comfort over a decade ago.There are reviews for this product that say their sheets were not the high thread count or of low quality, but I cannot say if their products were mis-shipped or if those reviews were written by people (or competitors) with an agenda. I work in a technology field and I am certainly used to hearing fear, uncertainty and doubt (FUD) that is sewn by my competitors. All I can say is that my set seems nice & thick as I would expect, and the pre-washed finish seems very smooth and soft.I ordered and returned 3-4 sets of sheets that did not seem to be the quality I was looking for, but these seem to fit my initial requirements. Take this review for what it's worth.Edited on 6/21/2022: It is now 16 months later, and I am adding to my review. The top sheet has begun to fray, and I have ordered another set of these sheets. You see, I am very hard on sheets. I do not fold them. I strip my bed in the morning, wash & dry them, and they go right back on the bed that same day. So these sheets have been in constant use since February, 2021. Furthermore, I find nothing more relaxing that climbing into clean, fresh sheets, so they are washed weekly, and about every 3rd laundering I'll throw about a cup of bleach into the washing machine with the sheets. So, this is what I mean when I say I am hard on sheets, and they are just now starting to fray.

En años que tengo comprando sábanas estas son probablemente las mejores que he tenido, están pesadas pero a la vez son frescas, no se les hace una sola arruga, su textura es suave, no terso y sedoso como otras que son mezcladas con poliéster. Vale la pena gastar un poco más y comprar estas.

Poor quality, hanging threads, a grey stain, wavy stiches. Proclaimed 1000 thread count is a joke, can literally see through the bed sheet. I compared to my current sheets with 600 thread, and mine are thicker and the fabric is more even and smoother. I won't recommend this product. Overpriced poor quality crap made in India. Huge disappointment.
