I purchased the part 9 months age knowing it was getting ready to fail. Today I decided to change it out and I found the part was broken. Still inside the box. Who knows if it shipped that way or it was damaged in shipping. The plastic rod on the end that fits into the starter housing was broken.

Put it on the tractor and it’s bad. It was left open. Had disconnect everything.
