2004 Yamaha Roadstar 1700.Purchased bike with a known bad stator, ordered this one. Many lengthy tutorials on YouTube, but simple replacement. Scraping the old gasket was the only hard part of this job. Went together well and worked as advertised.One caveat, don't forget to test the rectifier. Common sense says so, but it got me hence the 4 stars. Everything tested aces so we assembled and set out on a cruise, only I remembered the brand spanking new rectifier while wifey was "readying" her hair, being an easy swap I installed it and we took off. Failure to charge the battery cost me a dead battery breakdown. Put the old rectifier on and all is as it should be. You know these reviews, grain of salt and all, but test your equipment to prevent an angry biker chick making you feel dumb along the road. Safe travels brothers and sisters.🤙
