Replaced old defective ones with this, the original ballast were old so to general shape was not 100% the same but it gets the job done. Replaced the supplied bulbs with led which should come standard now a days. The white plastic was not cleaned and had lots of uncleaned slots which prevented the smooth sliding of the transparent covers. Mounting holes were not at the same place then the original but it was expected, so no harm there.

The 3 amp switch fails. I ordered 6 fixtures, 3 switches have failed in the ones I use the most. The switch over heats and shows signs of burning. One switch even melted together and became inoperable. I replaced the switch with a 10 amp switch and so far so good. I do not like how hot the fixtures get if left on for a long period of time. However they do put out plenty of light, no complaint there. I will replace them with LED fixtures as soon as I can. I'm nervous about them starting a fire so I do not leave then unattended.

Easy install, bright light but taking the cover off to replace the bulb creates a problem for me. The covers are designed to squeeze and slide them off, This is almost impossible for me to do, there is no kind of grip on the lens so my hands slide and I am too weak to squeeze it enough to remove the cover. Would not buy again at this time. May change my mind if the covers can be removed easier.

These things are cheap, but look good and are VERY bright! They even come with bulbs, which I thought was quite a nice touch. I installed 4 double and 10 single ones in my tiny home, all work well. They switch does feel a little cheap, but works fine.

This was a cheaper alternative. Rather than buying replacement lenses and switches for the old lights, I bought these.I bought 6 doubles and 5 singles. They all work great and will light up the motorhome like it's high noon.I'm very happy with them and highly recommend them to anyone in need of a 12v light.

This light is bright. So bright that I moved another fixture to the location I had planned and moved this one into the kitchen. Prefect for cooking and makes removing slivers easy. Like I said bright. Seems to be built tough enough and install was a breeze

This light is exactly what I needed to replace my cabin interior light in my boat. The lights themselves are very nice and bright, without giving off the usual yellow glow from a regular bulb. hopefully the lenses will stay clear, but it appears to be well made and they used quality wiring inside the unit. It does include the bulbs as well, which a lot of the units do not.

We purchased these lights to replace the factory lighting in our shop van and cargo trailer. We swapped the bulbs for that are brighter and have a whiter light than the small tungsten bulbs that come with them. They installed easily and produce a very bright light that makes it easy to see when you're searching for parts during a late night session on a jobsite. The seem pretty durable as I smashed our job box into the one in the trailer when we were loading it one night and it just bounced off with no damage. One star loss for the rather dim tungsten bulbs that come with the lights, but with the LED swap, they are great.
