These and other pests can enter through vents and openings and cause serious damage by building nests that interfere with airflow in and out of your furnace. Protect your valuable investment by installing Camco's Flying Insect Screen. This easy to install screen helps ensure that your furnace and fan stay safe from unwanted pests. The Camco 42155 Flying Insect Screen is designed for compatibility with Atwood AFMD model furnaces. It is made of heavy-duty stainless steel to last through many camping seasons.

It went right over the exhaust on my RV furnace and clipped on using the included tool and springs. I’ll let you know if it falls off on the road.

I had occasion to by both brands...for a couple of bucks more the Camco screen is more precisely made, with sturdier screen material and springs.

The hardware, springs, hooks is the wrong one for this size screen. Springs/hooks are too short and are not reaching the RV. Had to fabric my own hooks.

Fits AFMD furnace IF you also get the replacement door that goes with the AFMD furnace. I didn’t and it is not perfect but good enough.

Bought this for my 2017 A.C.E 30.3 to protect my water heater and heater. The 8.5 x 6 size was perfect for the water heater, I modified the tool by increasing the groove to hold the spring better, it is secure and looks good. On the other hand, while the screen for the heater fits, the spring is too long to hold it securely on. I have wired it on but am worried that I will lose it on my next trip.

Easy install on my RV. I ran a bead of silicon around the outside where it contacted the RV. Wasn't convinced that the included/recommended springs would hold it in place so used both. Quality product that does what it advertises and that is it keeps insects out of your RV appliances. Very cost effective way to prevent future problems.

These are nice heavy stainless screens. The problem is trying to install them using the spring kit that comes with them. When installed they did not feel as though they would stay in place while traveling at highway speeds. I added some light stainless wire and tied then to the vent. The wire being the same color as the screen did not look unseemly. I would buy again.

Fit perfectly for my Jayco trailer and really easy to install with the supplied tool. They have been on outside for most of the year and still shiny and without rust. Does not move around when traveling.
