So after needing to buy a new Rhino hose because my other one from 5 years ago go damaged, I have a back to back comparison now. This new version is much cheaper than the original. The hose itself is thinner material and the strength of the ribbing is much weaker too. Not to mention that it's actually about 4" longer when collapsed than the original one. So now it doesn't fit in my holder anymore. Those of you that aren't aware of the original one will probably like this because you don't know the difference. I won't buy this again if I need to.

I am very please and impressed with this kit. It's well made, strong and durable and includes all the fitting you will need including end caps to close off your house after your use it and a V funnel nose code for placing the hose into the septic tank.The clear right angle elbow on the end of the hose allows you to monitor the flow from your tanks and see if a blockage occurs.The house itself is very strong, sturdy, yet flexible.I've owned several RV's and various sewer hoses over the years and this Camco Rhino Flex Kit is the best quality and most complete hose kit I've ever purchased. Normally you have to by the elbow, funnel cone and caps separately but they all come with this kit.The connectors, seals and fittings on my hoses were all assembled and even had silicone grease already applied to them right out of the box.After seeing my new hose kit, my neighbor bought one to replace the old sewer hose on his RV.If you bought a new RV or your need to replace your old sewer hose I highly recommend this Camco Rhino Flex Kit.Important Note: If you store your sewer hose in the back 4" inch square bumper of your RV this hose will not fit or will fit very tightly into the 4" bumper of most RVs. The hose itself will fit fine in 4" inch bumpers however the fittings are TOO Large to fit inside a 4" inch RV bumper and would have to be removed before you would be able to install this hose inside. This wasn't an issue for me because I have a separate storage compartment for my hose and do not need to store it in my bumper. If your RV is different and you will need to store your sewer hose inside your bumper you will have to remove the fittings from this hose in order for it to fit.

Absolutely perfect! Easy to manage, easy to store (we do inside the RV's rear bumper/ no issues to place or remove it). If you do so, note the flat edges on the orange coupler (cam lock end). Line those up with the shape of the bumper and it goes right in/ out! The hose comes with a slick (almost petroleum jelly like/clear) treatment inside which makes complete sense! The OEM hose I had been using that came with the purchase of my Winnebago motor home worked well, but was far too short for some campgrounds and required my parking uncomfortably close to some sewer reservoirs at dump stations. This sewer hose takes little more space in my sewer storage tube, yet it is expandable to an amazing length. The end connectors are heavy-duty. Because the end connectors were larger in diameter than the typical, light-duty connectors, it wouldn't fit in my storage tube until I took my utility knife and cut down the small , plastic tabs (these tabs are put on to allow one to more easily grasp the connectors, but are unnecessary). Reducing the size of these small tabs allowed the hose and end connectors to fit into my storage tube. :) Needless to say, the elbow and sewer conduit adapter do not fit in my sewer tube storage compartment. I keep them in a plastic bag in another compartment.The only problem I have is getting the sewer insert to stay on the white, semi-opaque elbow. It twists on, but it doesn't have a tight 'tab in slot' fit, so it comes out easily. Because of this, I make a little extra effort to try not to move it after it is inserted into the sewer conduit.Bottom Line: I highly recommend this RV sewer hose. Heavy-duty and tough plastic from the end connectors to the skin of the hose itself.

I love it! Never thought I'd say that about a sewer hose, but this one is really pretty cool. Very light, but seems really durable for the money, I guess time will tell. It actually compresses to about 3 1/2 feet, and is easy to store in the bumper, and you only have to extend it out for as much as you need, instead of having to deal with flaking out a bunch of hose, and looping it all over your site to hook up. Both ends swivel 360 degrees, so there's no hose flipping to connect to the sewer, and they have locking rings on both ends to keep the hose in place once secured, so there's no chance of the hose jumping out when the BIG SURGE comes when dumping! The sewer connection has a 90 on it, and a univervsal fitting that threads into most sewer dumps. Both ends have locking caps. Only one observation, but this is not a a fault of the hose, just a tip. Because this hose will actually compress into 3 1/2 feet at the slightest pressure( like pushing it into your 8' bumper)you might consider tieing a string to the end, and extending it out of the cap on your bumper, so you can pull it out if it slides to the other end during transit. Shipping was lightning fast. Just a couple days with normal shipping. Don't waste you're money on express, you won't need it.
