Ive used this to pull my awnings and my air brake tank purge on my RV. After the third use, the curved top came out of the telescoping wand (glued in??). Today, the telescoping wand decided to bend in half. This is now useless. Maybe I was too hard on it? Is there a better one made, at a different price point that I should have bought? Shopping now..... I think possibly it was intended to be used less vigorously than I have used it.

We bought our coach preowned and this hook was missing and we needed one to open up the drivers side awnings and I ordered this and it is PERFECT!

I've now purchased two of these and BOTH did the very same thing. It worked for a few times and when least expected the end became unattached to the handle. My awning went crashing against my MH which frankly upset me. It appears the end in not affixed with any epoxy or glue but simple a pressure fit which clearly is not reliable. Although I am going to fix these extension rods myself, I CANNOT recommend them. They do NOT continue to work beyond a few uses. Don't waste your money.

I ordered one of these a while back, it worked awesome, so decided I wanted another one. I couldn't find the same one on here, so I ordered this one. It is garbage. It is so flimsy that it just flexes when you try to pull anything over about 1/2 a pound. It is almost useless for me

This worked well on the window awnings we had on our 5th wheel travel trailer. Unfortunately, it was not strong enough to handle the window awnings on our new motor home, so we let it go to the new owner's of the 5th wheel. Big difference in the spring mechanism on each rig.

This was to replace mine. It lasted me for years but I tried to pull a heavy jack pad from under the motorhome and pulled it apart. I should have known better. It's a great item. I will just use my new one for what it's supposed to be used for and use my heavy duty one piece to retrieve my heavy wooden jack pads.

Don't be dumb like me. Didn't realize it extends and thought I wasted my money on a short little hook. Thank goodness my wife is smart (and cute too), and showed me the ways of Camco RV Easy Reach! Now instead of standing on a step and pulling the awning out with a coat hangar, I can just reach up with this little gizmo and out comes the awning! If you are a simpleton like me, it's a life changer. If you are a smarty pants like my wife, it is still an awesome tool.
