I have 4 Cametv V-Mount batteries of the old style without the screen, just bought this one and the battery tops out at 60% on the charger and wont go any higher than 60% charge on the LED screen. Using the same DTAP v-mount charger i have used for all my batteries.

Really wanted to love these, but they can’t been keep an Amaran 60x powered up (75w draw) for long, keeps shutting off once it gets below 40-50% remaining. And it cut out just below 60% on a higher draw fixture (120w)They are advertised at 10A @ 14.4v, but zero chance they can sustain that (144watts)They still get two stars as they seem to be accurate capacity-wise and the lcd is super accurate for voltage and time remaining. For the price, if you’re only with low draw only, they could still be a fair buy.

This battery has so many ways to plug in for power that you probably won’t use them all, but it’s nice to have them if you need them. It’s a fantastic traveling or backup power source, that’s welcomed and appreciated.The V Mount Battery by CameTV, is obviously built for camera’s and camcorders or anyone else that has a need for a small portable lithium battery. With so many ways to access this power and a standard way to attach it to the tools of the trade, it’s super useful.I appreciate how small it is for the power stored inside, and how nicely that small size fits on the back of my camera or in a bag. Having 99Wh (6900mAh) in such a small and versatile package, has been extremely useful for me. So far, it’s always functioned as expected without faults or failures and provided the amount of charge I’d expect out of its capacity. It also, charges very quickly and the screen on the front is helpful in telling me how much power I have left, am currently using and estimated time, so I don’t have to guess. This one is a bit smaller than others I have, providing a nice bonus at travel time.Overall, this is an amazing purpose built battery, that steps up in every way you’d expect it to. Providing an invaluable tool to any filmmaker that wants to take that production on the move and have the power to succeed.You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. The battery charge doesn't match the LED display. I purchased this battery to use with my Komodo-X and it worked at first, but now the camera shuts off even though the LED percentage on the display is at 60%. Luckily my SDI cable wasn't connected or my SDI port would have been fried.UPDATE: Support was very helpful in providing a refund for this issue. Maybe my battery was just a bad one. Solid company that supports their products.

This is a very compact battery, easy to pack in your bag and use on the go. The build is sturdy enough that even with a lot of use and travel, it feels like it will hold up. You can power several devices at once. If you travel a lot, this is a huge time saver and emergency backup, you can keep working much easier. Especially if you use a drone for capturing photography, you can charge both it and the laptop at once. It charged both internally and other devices pretty fast.

I previously had a PowerA V-Mount battery and it didn’t quite work right, with a very convoluted display screen and what seemed to be slow charging speeds. I’ve used this a couple times now attached to my video rig, which I’m still piecing together, but so far it works great and hasn’t given me any issues. The battery pack feels well built, being made from quality materials and I like the styling of it with the oversized text. The V-Mount bracket locked in very securely to my NiceyRig battery arm and has no play whatsoever. I’ve used it mainly with my iPhone for video and the charging power is incredible, as is the capacity when charging at lower voltages. I’m not sure I’ll have a need for the D-TAP connector but appreciate it being there. Compared to the PowerA battery I was using this, I like this one much better and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it.

I got a new camera about 6 months ago and have been building out my rig since. I realized that it would be a good idea to have a V Mount battery, for my field monitor and other accessories, so I got this one. I did try another one from a different brand before getting this one, but I do like this one a lot better.This does have only D-Tap port, which I know some have been disappointed with, but I currently don't use D-Tap so it's not a big deal to me. There is a type-c, type-a, 8.4 V and a 12V barrel jack for power besides the D-Tap. One feature that I really love are the rubber plugs for the power ports. They seal very well and the one on the top, where the majority of the ports are, stays out of the way when opened up. On the other v mount that I own, that rubber plug partially blocks the type-c port, making it very hard to use, so thumbs up on that. There is also a BD Interface on the bottom, but I do not own anything that uses that, yet, so I can't tell you how well it works. There is a screen that shows a few different bits of info, including real-time, voltage, real-time current and the one that I really care about, remaining usage time. This will charge multiple items at the same time and has a great battery capacity. It also charges up fairly fast as well.I will also add that the build quality seems excellent and it is an attractive looking battery. Being as I'm pretty much new to using V Mounts, this has everything that I need, but I imagine this will do the trick for most people as well. Highly recommend it!
