- Please connect 3 lines correctly before turning on the monitor: Please check wiring: the black wire is connected to the negative pole, yellow wire is connected to the positive pole (12V B+), and the red wire is connected to the ignition switch positive (ACC). If this is not turned on, the red and yellow wires can be combined and connected to the positive pole.

Worked great for about three days. Technically, it still works, but the face illumination and buttons have stopped working. Interestingly, the LCD screen and Bluetooth still function, but I have no volume control or ability to change inputs.

This little stereo was replacing my defunct JVC. I just wanted something inexpensive in my car because the car itself is 18 years old, and is more of a work car than anything else, but I love my tunes. Well, this stereo does the job admirably. It connects immediately to my phone for bluetooth MP3, and the sound quality is excellent. I get plenty of volume, and the sound quality is very good.

I put this on my side by side as a replacement for another unit that quit working. This one works well and sounds decent. It has survived a couple of thunderstorms and is still working so that's a plus in my book. Everything functions as it is supposed to and is easy to use if you are familiar with this style stereo. At the price point I think it is a super value and can easily be replaced if it fails, which so far it hasn't.
