A solid addition to your cold weather gear collection.(NOTE: The jacket is much more of a saturated blue similar to the product page. My photos are looking pretty dull. My bad...it's a brighter blue for sure.)The Good: A warm, well made winter coat. The microfiber fleece at the neck really helps keep the wind out. The furry fleece lining will also keep you toasty. When the temperature drops, you'll be comfy without as much bulk as some other ski jackets. If you do take it skiing, the waterproofing and scratch-proof polyester are the real deal. I stayed super dry on the slopes.I'm not a big fan of hoods, so I appreciate that it's removable and that they provide the fabric panel to cover the zipper when the hood is MIA. The collar is sturdy enough to stand up against the wind without being constricting. When snapped up, you won't really need a heavy scarf.The OK: As noted by a few reviewers, the pockets need to be larger. Even in their own video you will note that a big cellphone barely fits in both the inside and outside pockets. They're usable, but will definitely prevent you from overpacking them with stuff. The hook and loop around the wrists is not the best quality, but for most people once you adjust them to your size you won't be messing with the cuffs much. Not a deal breaker, just a callout.The fabrication is on point. Stitching is tight. It seems to be a pretty well thought out jacket both inside and out. A solid 4 stars for the next cold snap.

We got this for our older teen, and it was a great choice for both wet and cold weather. The lining is soft, and the outer shell really does block out wind. He wore it sledding and walking around town in freezing weather and was comfortable the whole time. The color is bold and the fit is clean—good for everyday winter wear too.
