Lost mine kayaking. Purchased this to replace and it's working flawlessly just like before. OEM is the way to go.

I need hydration when I ski and participate in many outdoor events. Many times during activities my Camelback will drip from the mouthpiece. This hydrolock has put an end to my dripping mouthpiece. It is the perfect solution.

Not sure whether new Camelbak bladders come with these lock as standard equipment nowadays, but they should. If you're like me, and have older Camelbaks, you've probably had the very unsettling and dangerous experience of having the bladder leak water through the pressure valve, resulting in being left with no water in the midst of an extreme environment where water is of paramount importance. This lock effectively "locks down" the flow so there's no leakage at all, so you can have the continued convenience of a water source at your lips without having to worry about whether you're going to lose all your water before you ever get to drink it. It's too bad Camelbak produced these bladders with such and obvious and dangerous defect, but thankfully, this hydrolock effectively eliminates that vulnerability; I haven't had any problems with leakage since installing the Hydrolocks on my Camelbak bladders.

Klasse Teil, kein lästiges Tropfen mehr. Gute Qualität, wie ich es gewohnt bin von Camelback. Funktioniert einwandfrei. Sehr gutted Label.

Best $4 I've spent in a long time. I used this on a recent Boundary Waters trip with a Platypus Gravity Works filter. This is superior to the shutoff that comes with the Platypus. Our group was able to conveniently dispense water with this and when you needed it to be hands free this was perfect. In the grand scheme of things it is just a shutoff valve but out in the woods you appreciate little things like this and it was really convenient. Easy to operate and fit the platypus tubing like it was original equipment. I love the filter we used but this made it even better.

Parfait et bon marché pour de la marque sérieuse et respectée. Je l'ai acheté pour mettre sur un sac similaire à un Camelbak mais sans marque, et moins pratique.

Original Camelbak 90 degree connection with the HydroLock. My dog got a hold of my original one and chewed it up. I found this as a replacement piece and it works perfect. Easy to connect to the hose and the mouth piece. I like being able to use the hydrolock to turn the water flow on/off. looks great. fit perfect.

Got my 3 Liter ready to go again! Had accidentally stepped on the old bite valve last summer and flooded the floor of the car! Needed this to keep that from happening again. Although it is pricey for such a small piece, it made my old system usable again. PS I had to leave the end of the olld tube in VERY hot water for a minute to get the section to slide in.

I originally bought a large Camelbak Hydration Pack with the 100-oz. reservoir and this design of locking bite valve. On a recent kayaking trip, my son pulled my reservoir out of my kayak and pulled the yellow locking tab off...we couldn't find it. I didn't realize that it just slides right out of the end of the valve. I have always liked the convenient design of this valve, but it WILL leak a bit if it's not locked. That was never an issue until my wife broke both of her wrists and this seemed like the perfect hydration system for her to use with "no hands". Unfortunately, we found that, if the valve isn't locked, it does drip a bit. It happens very slowly, but she's been sleeping with this beside her and it has made a couple of large wet spots...had to figure out how to enable her to lock it using only teeth and a finger. For my normal uses while hiking and biking, it is absolutely perfect for me.

Not much to say, it just works. I think I ruined my old one by washing it in really hot water, can't prove it but that's my theory so be careful as it started to leak. The new one works perfect but to be honest I rarely use the lock feature, only bought this because it's what came on my camel bak to begin with. But there has been times I laid the camel bak down and it pinched the value thus leaking water out, so maybe I should use the lock.
