Great size, but after one ride I went to take this off my bike and found one of the Velcro strips fixing it to handlebar was torn clean through, right where it was stitched to the bag. I wouldn't say I overly tightened it when attaching it either.

I used this to bike 480 miles through Belgium, Germany, & The Netherlands. I tried out and returned several different bags before this trip. Overall, it worked well. It was the right size for my needs (bike tools, packed rain jacket, snacks, battery, etc.) The mesh pocket on the side was perfect to keep my phone handy, but off the handle bars. The waterproof zipper pocket on the other side was great to have easy access to my wallet and some cash and a good place to store my passport. It was pretty stable, even without the extra straps. It was quick and easy to remove from and put back on the strap-on rack thing. It was compact and low enough that I could have used the out-front mount for my Garmin. While I didn't get heavy rains, I'm confident the roll-closure would keep everything dry.This would be a great handle bar bag with a couple of simple improvements. A removeable shoulder strap is the biggest miss on this bag. This would be a huge improvement. Another big miss is some basic internal organizers. I took two pencil bags (the kind the clip into a 3-ring binder,) put stick-on velcro on the pencil bags and the inside of the bike bag, and used them for organizers. Simply having built-in mess pockets with zippers across the front and back inside the bag would make a huge difference. The mounting bar works pretty well and stayed stable the whole time. That said, I'd like to see an option for a clamp-on mount to make it completely solid. As I said, a few simple tweaks could make this one of the best handle-bar bags for bike-packing on the market.
