The crupper broke in two as I was trying to insert it under the saddle panels! Absolute waste of money; buy the more expensive one if you're debating between the two. This one isn't the 1 star I have to give it to write this review.

works for donkeys too if you have a small one that you want to saddle for a child to ride to use to attach other things to a surcingle.

I had to return my crupper strap do to it being too small for my pony. She actually fit better with a horse size.
