This camera bag offers a lot of flexibility, making it a great option for photographers who need to customize their carrying solution. Here's a breakdown of its features and my experience:* Customizable Side Panels: The bag features zippered compartments on both sides. These compartments are designed to hold removable inserts, allowing you to tailor the level of protection to your specific gear.* Included Inserts: The bag comes with two different types of inserts:* Plastic Panels: These provide rigid support and protection against impacts.* Foam Inserts: These offer cushioning and help to prevent scratches.* Adaptable to Different Needs: I found the ability to remove the plastic panels particularly useful. I often carry my camera gear inside my backpack, and the added rigidity of the plastic panels wasn't necessary in that context. Removing them reduced bulk and weight, making the bag more comfortable and streamlined.* Recommendation: Based on my experience, I highly recommend this camera bag for photographers who appreciate versatility and want a bag that can adapt to different carrying scenarios. The ability to customize the level of protection is a major plus.

I was surprised to find that with a little creativity and several panel repositions, I am able to fit everything I have with space for another lens. It's deep enough to stack smaller items over my 75-300 and storing my diffuser over my flash. You can close the end of the panels if you want them to swing like a door. The end panel is convenient for quick shots around the house of pets, nature, etc. Small enough for a motorcycle backpack.

This case is well-made and customizable. I can perfectly fit my Nikon Z8 with attached Nikkor 70-200 f2.8 (lens hood reversed), with space for an additional lens (or two) and some accessories. I purchased this instead of a photo-specific backpack because I had an extra MATEIN 17-inch backpack at home and wanted to put it to use. The case fits in it perfectly, and the top opening of the case gives me easy access to my camera. All together, the case and backpack are a perfect combo for traveling, as I can carry the photo gear I need as well as my laptop and other gear for a lot less than other backpacks.

I ordered the svetin photography insert to solve the problem of how to carryon my heavy underwater photogear or SLR and lenses. This bag holds virtually all of each setup, so I can use it for either diving or land trips. The best part is that it nestles perfectly inside the bottom half of my regular old London Fog carryon, leaving the top half empty for my regulator and computers for diving trips, or shoes or spare clothes for other excursions. The padding is just enough, with no frills. Simple web handles make it easy to pick up fro any side, and staggered shoulder-strap attachment pints ensure a stable ride when carrying the insert solo on its included shoulder strap. Plenty of dividers; I ended up with two spares. The depth is sufficient that I can save space by standing my wide angle and 17-50mm lenses on their ends. No zippered pockets inside, but I found plenty of nooks and crannies to stuff with cords and cables. I wish I had thought of this several trips ago. I could have avoided some painful schleping of a heavy should bag instead of rolling it like I can do when I place this insert inside my roller board!

Solid, enough spare partition sections to keep whatever you want in place and safe. My only complaint is the internal material feels to be on the cheaper side. Camera and lenses went in clean, came out with quite a few fibers on them.

Bag is just okay. Build quality is alright, and I do like the padding. I just wish it was a half inch wider so that the Peak Designs shoulder strap could fit while still being on the camera. Well, I eventually got the strap on the camera while being in the case. But it really can only go on a certain way. See second photo. The empty spot in the photos are for the 50mm 1.4f lens that I’m waiting on delivery. The kit lens in the photos is a 24mm to 105mm. All Canon EF devices. Going to use this for my trip in Japan in September. Will update once we return.

When this arrived, I was struck by the quality of this bag...It's really well-made, rigid, and the foam is dense (in a good way). I love that velcro dividers have become an industry standard because it's so nice to be able to configure your bag in a way that works for you.I just returned from my second trip to the Bahamas this year. I brought my Pelican 1450 on the first trip, but didn't want to carry a case this time, so I bought this in the medium size for my backpack. I have both the 25L and 32L Patagonia Black Hole backpacks, but bought the 32L for extra space (it took the entire space up in the 25L, which is the backpack shown in my photo).Again, I bought the medium size, and was able to comfortably fit:- Nikon Z6ii camera body- Three (3) lenses (70-200mm f/1.8, 24-70mm f/4, 50mm f/1.8) each with lens hood- Nikon battery charger- Two (2) spare batteries- Dry Tote Desiccant pack- Cleaning cloth- Camera strapGoing through security was a breeze: I pulled the case out, opened the clamshell, and sent it through the scanners, and slid it right back into my backpack. While traveling, I keep my 70-200 attached to the camera body (it's the one I use most) and the zipper door on the end of the cube was an absolute GAME CHANGER. I was able to get my camera our of my backpack quickly and easily. I kept my camera on one side of the quick-access side and spare batteries on the other side.Important to note that I did NOT use the straps that come with this...I only bought this for my backpack, and for that application it was perfect.
