it did the job but= the slot for the span bar in the fingers is so loose its impossible to keep them parallel. the flat tips are tapered making it hard to grip the slots without camming out and the other end is ground to a sharp point. ok if you need a marking compass but no good for lense retaining rings.

Was hoping this would be a bit more stable than some of the other cheap spanners that use two round rods rather than the single flat one. Alas, it performed more or less the same and was just as fiddly.The inclusion of both hex screws and thumb screws was nice.
