From the get go the puller didn't fit, opening was to wide. And then I gave it a good look. The arms were actually bent and twisted! It's made of what I call pot metal, cast aluminum. Bent! You have to go out of your way to do that. Broke it trying to straighten it. I would take a picture but it went airborne down through the woods somewhere. And after all of that? One of the end caps/seals leaks. WTF! If the EPA gets me for leaking hydraulic steering fluid all over the Potomac, I'll tell them to bill Camoo (China).

These seals look reputable once you receive them. The problem came once installed. The expectation was for them to seal in the hydraulic fluid. Well, they did not do that! I started out with one of the original seals leaking so ordered these seals. When done and all completed as per instructions, no install errors involved, They were both puking oil as soon as the motor was under way! Seals were obviously not to the correct circumference of the shaft. Ordered the OEM seals and they are working perfectly. Don't waste your time nor money on these seals. The wrench is weak! The puller did work as designed.

Once installed, seals immediately leaked as the fluid was added. Never got out on the water.**UPDATE** - The seller contacted me and shipped new seals to me within days. I installed, filled the system and ran it on the water. New seals worked great. Not sure what was wrong with the first ones. This seller stands by their product and makes things right. Would definitely buy from them again.

Everything was great but the puller. Its opening was too big so it would not grip the arm to pull it off the motor. Had to heat it up and make the gap smaller. Works great now.

The bleed hose was not long enough so I had to run it between the motor and steering. It bound up and broke the brass quick disconnect right away. This could be because the bleed connections were faced toward the motor instead of towards the stern. The support bracket puller didn't fit my bracket and slid down the outside of the bracket and scarred it all up. I then had to hammer the puller off the bracket and bracket off the steering.Fortunately the tool that removed the seals worked fine and the seals themselves haven't started leaking yet and it's been a few months.

Everything you need to replace leaky hydraulic boat steering seals. Good quality tools and the cross-bleed line makes the process almost drip-free.

This appears to be a quality product that fit perfectly with the steering system. I purchased the kit with the "support bracket puller" just in case I needed, which thankfully I didn't as the brackets were not seized up and came off by hand. End Caps contained all the new o-rings so no need to try to use the old ones again. Dealership wanted $192 for the same kit, so saved $62 on Amazon. All in all a good kit that will serve any DIY'ers needs. Recommend
