Even though I got it for future camping adventure we have been using it on our balcony. It gives off a cool vibe. No issues with it so far.

When I first got this I was excited! Three different sets of lights! A fairy light strand in a nice retractable housing! A bright spotlight if you need it! Some task lights! But... then I tried it all out and it was disappointing. To start, this almost got better marks. When you power on the fairy lights they start off at full brightness with no flicker. But then a few minutes in, the light starts to fade (almost like they're gaslighting you)... and becomes awful. The LEDs have a PWM flicker rate of around 100Hz which is about as bad as LED PWM flicker ever gets. On top of that, the "white" fairy lights are extremely orange, with a CRI clocking in at 57. Ok, so the fairy light strand is bad and possibly unusably by anyone who can't stand flickering lights. What about the other two?The spotlight is very bright and very blue. The color temperature measures around 6700K with a CRI of 71. Not the most pleasant of light, but sometimes you need a very bright light and this has it.The task light is a bit more respectable, with a color temperature of around 3100K and a CRI of about 75. This is probably the best light of the whole apparatus. If I were to be using this light regularly, this is probably the mode I would use the most. One of the most redeeming qualities is the retraction mechanism for the fairy lights. I just love that it's built right in! If only I would actually want to ever use the fairy lights, this would be a killer feature. But I don't because they flicker at an awful 100Hz.

After having our children, we car camp more and more often. I like to have string lights up across our camp for a nice soft ambient light at night. I would first run a rope across, then wrap the string lights around and around and around all the way down. Then, hook it up to a power bank. It was very time-consuming, but worked great! However, I didn't know there was a better option.I'm so happy I found this. It's packed with features! It's got soft lighting out of the side with the diffuser, which will be perfect for lighting a broader area, like a picnic table. A really bright led out of the back/bottom side, which is very usable if you need a lot of light. Pretty strong magnets on it, which you could use to stick it onto a camp lantern pole or car hood. It's also a power bank. And all of that is great, but then there's also string lights in it!With the hook on one end, it is very simple to wrap around something and clip it back on to itself. Then, just start pulling, attach the base on the other end, and bam, you've set up your camp string lights! Taking it down couldn't be simpler either, just wind it up! This thing is going to save me so much time! I can't wait to go camping with it!

These camping string lights brought just the right kind of glow to our last night under the stars. The whole string stretches a good 32 feet, long enough to wrap around a tent, drape across a porch, or wind through the trees like fireflies with a plan. It’s got eight lighting modes, from a steady warm shine to twinkles and fades that feel like a story being told. I set it to a soft glow while we roasted marshmallows, then let the pulsing light guide our way back to the sleeping bags. It’s waterproof too, which came in handy when the fog rolled in thick as soup.Charges up easy and packs away neat. No tangles, no fuss. I clipped it around the picnic table one night and along the clothesline the next. One light does the work of a whole campsite kit.Grandkid bonus: They were wild for the flashing mode. Said it was lit and asked if we could use it for Christmas too. I said bet.Whether you’re in the woods or just on the porch telling stories, these lights add a little wonder to the night. Simple, sturdy, and ready to shine wherever you hang them.

These camping string lights are the perfect combo of cozy and functional! The warm glow creates a super inviting atmosphere around the campsite, and they’re bright enough to be useful without being harsh. Setup is quick and easy—just string them up around your tent, RV, or canopy. The build quality feels durable, and they hold up well in outdoor conditions. Battery life is solid (or solar/USB, if applicable), making them ideal for multiple nights of use. A must-have for adding some charm to your outdoor adventures!
