This strap-on seat really does enable a longer, more relaxing ride on my paddle board when I want to sit down. It is fairly supportive and helps eliminate most back fatigue. I think it might be better suited as a cushion on a kayak though, where there is already a rigid seat with some support. On a paddle board, it tends to slump down if you move much and doesn't offer 100% support. However, I still like it because it is a lot better than nothing.If I want to sit still and rest on the paddle board, without rowing, it will allow me to relax and fully lean back. When paddling, I have to be aware of not sliding my rear end around because that causes the seat to slide out of place.The portability of this seat makes it easy to fold up and place under the bungee straps on the front of the board when I want to stand up and paddle. Overall, I am glad to have this seat. Makes the paddle board much more versatile.

This paddleboard add-on seat give me a seated option on my paddleboard. I did find that the front straps for the seat back were on the short side and I have them about as long as I could safely go without the straps coming out of the buckles This allows me to center the seat over the grab handle for proper weight distribution. It would have been nicer if those straps were just a few inches longer. The seat back could also be made a little stiffer, at least the lower portion. The seat back wants to sink down a little bit where the first seam in the blue padded section is. This still seems to work for me, but I don't think the seat back should be folding there. I also tried adding a foam cushion commonly used for gardening under the seat. The extra lift off the paddleboard makes the seated position a bit more comfortable. Overall this is a decent option for someone wanting to add a seat to their paddleboard provided they have the D-Rings to mount it.

I love that this paddleboard seat is totally plug and play if you've already got d rings on your board, and it definitely helps with lower back support if you're sitting. It's also thin enough to store basically flat, which is great if you want to be able to sit and stand in a trip, you can unclip it and store it in front or behind. There is a tradeoff with the padding, however, and after sitting in it for about an hour on a hard paddle board yesterday my butt is sore today. But you couldn't really add padding without detracting from the portability, so I'm not mad. Its a good accessory if you want to occasionally use your paddle board like a kayak, but I probably wouldn't recommend it as a full time seat option.

I compared this to some of my pricier brand name kayak seats, and I have to say that this is pretty similar as far as seat comfort and materials. There is a spot or two where the stitching maybe isn't as nice and neat, but that's more cosmetic and won't affect longevity. The strap buckles aren't heavy duty brass or anything, but that's fine. And the straps are a little complicated as far as where they're anchored and how they're sewn together. Overall, though, this is a fine little seat!

We are using this as a seat in a sit on top kayak. It came with hardware for installation, but our kayak had the clips already installed in the correct locations. So we did not use what was provided.The seat is comfy and gives the back support needed, which is really important to us. Easy to install and adjust all the straps, providing the fit you require. We will add a silicone seat cushion we already have, just for added padding. Hours of paddling can make a bottom numb without some extra TLC.We are using in salt water, and we just hose the seat with fresh water when home. Should last. We recommend the seat.

I have a kayak paddle to go with my SUP and this seat makes it more comfortable to paddle with than without the seat. I'm able to paddle more and more without being tired without the seat support. The seat folds down as well so if you don't want to use it you don't have to when you have more than one person on your SUP or don't feel like kayaking. This seat goes pretty flat, so I don't have to remove it before rolling up my SUP.

I really like this seat and used to replace one that came standard on my Eddyline kayak. It fit into place just like the OEM one did and straps into place so I can sit in a comfortable position with back support when kayaking. It looks nice and drys quicker than the previous seat did.
