Don't always want to get out the electric opener so I got this hand held one. Didn't hurt my hands the grip was nice size, sharp (wasn't sure it was even cutting at first). Money will spent. Going on 80 I'm not as strong as I once was, I need easy.

Got one 10Feb24 and it just stripped and broke off today 12Apr25. To me that's not so bad. Tried to put it back together but wasn't usable. Used it a lot and loved the comfortable feel of it and the smooth edge aspect of it was great! Instead of dealing with the warranty bs and needing another asap I just ordered again and will be here tomorrow.

Great Can Opener for the price,I said that it’s utilitarian and that describes it well. It’s Sharp,easy to turn and as a bonus you receive a magnet to grab the lid. Utilitarian. That’s my pros the cons are it does seem to be more of a disposable one than the one that you’ll have for a decade,when I puncture the can by squeezing the handle the top handle slides towards the can while the bottom handle slides away. It’s like the Handles want a Divorce and will be separating some time soon. As of today they are still together and working fine.

Do not buy. This thing is irreparable trash. I bought it at the end of April, and after less than two months of occasional use, the cogs on the wheel that should move the opener along the edge of a can’s lid are worn down and rusty (see red circled, deformed cogs). The conceptual design is great, but the metal used for the cog wheels is just too soft and prone to rust. Can’t do the job for more than a few dozen cans. Now the cogs are no longer able to move the can opener along the lid. Good luck trying to open anything with this—you’ll be better of with a 50-year-old Swiss army knife. And all that’s left working is a powerful little magnet that you’ll probably throw away with the rest of the device. That’s just a waste of your money, your time, and the rare raw materials needed for these magnets.
