I think the grill surface could be bigger. Plus, the grill surface seems to lean regardless of the weight of food, would be great for a few hotdogs or a couple of burgers, wouldn't trust for much else.

Basically it works very well, but I wish the grill itself was larger, it is only 12 inches wide. I can't seem to find a grill for it that is larger

While I wouldn't use this for a permanent install, I would consider it great for portability and car camping.The main reason is the 13" grill won't hold a huge amount of food.It was easy to assemble.

This over fire grate was easy to assemble and easy to use. We had a little bit of trouble getting it deep enough into the ground by the camp fire due to a hard ground, but that was no fault of the products. The grate and keetle hook swiveled just fine with any issues. My only complaint was I wish the arm of the grate was dipped or something so I was able to get it closer to the coals. It felt like it took a lot longer to cook our food but it was perfect for keeping things warm. Our corn was cooked before the rest of the food but we wanted them to stay warm so the grate was a great option for that. The arm of the keetle hook was strong enough to hold small hanging stock pan to warm of up water for dishes, but again it took a long while do to the distance from the pit. I got this for my son and his troop to learn how to cook over an open fire and this is doing the job, so you could say it is a win!
