This vintage candle holder did not meet my expectations. This is made with very thin metal which looks and feels very cheap. It is completely hollow and extremely lightweight, with the medium size weighing a total of only 10.6 ounces. From far away the overall design and appearance looks ok. After inspecting closely, it does not appear professionally made and the quality just isn’t up to par considering the price. The entire piece feels very unsteady and I would not attempt to set a real lit candle on it in fear of it toppling over. The candle holder is painted to appear vintage, but it does not look very realistic to me with all the brush marks and bronze color throughout. However, changing this could be an easy fix for anyone who enjoys DIY projects. The bottom is covered with a thin circle of velvet-like material to keep from scratching your furniture, which I appreciate. I would not purchase this item again.

I did not use it for a candle stand. I had a black iron lantern that was too short so I inverted this piece and placed my lantern on it and it works perfectly!

I could not be happier with how this candle holder worked out. I was looking for something to "dress up" a little cloche I have that contains a bird nest made out of my deceased horse's hair. This did the trick! It is well made with great distressed details. It's nice and heavy and well balanced, doesn't tip easily. I'd like to order the rest of the set to put candles on.

This iron looking pillar candle holder is a substantial looking piece. It looks great with or without a pillar candle on it. I expect we will be getting a second candle holder, but I am not sure yet whether to get the larger one or the smaller one since the one we have is the middle size.I love the way this looks and feels and that there is a felt-like padding on the bottom so that it will not scratch furniture. I especially like that there are several different sizes. What surprised me was how light this piece is. It must be completely hollow. For this price I would have expected a more solid piece, still, it looks great.
