This is a great set for the price considering you get everything you need to start making candles! I made mine without wicks to use under a lamp instead of burning them. You get so many fragrances that you can mix to make even more fragrances! You even get safety equipment like heat resistant gloves and silicone pad.

This is a nice kit, with almost everything you need to make several candles EXCEPT instructions! There are very basic instructions in the Amazon listing that don’t tell you what temp to set the wax melting pot on, and it’s super inconvenient to have to go back through my order history to find the listing and the instructions - this would be an even bigger issue if I had purchased it as a gift. Additionally, everything was just pretty much thrown into the box - the glass jars were packed without any kind of padding, some of the round stickers for the wicks were stuck on the side of the box, and everything was just jumbled around and messy in the box. I really wanted to love this enough to give it 5 stars - it has cute little containers for small candles, colored jars for larger candles, a nice variety of scents and colors, but the carelessness of the packaging and omission of printed instructions shows the seller’s lack of concern for providing a good, comprehensive craft kit. I was surprised that none of the jars were chipped or cracked. The wax melting pot is quite small, so you can only make two candles at a time, and it’s instructions are also unclear, referring to temp settings as numbers, when the dial just says off, on, med, and high.

This kit has nearly everything you need and more. The amount you get for this price is wild. This is a starter kits. Everything arrived well. Their are plenty of scent options that mix well. You could use this with kids, it’s pretty safe and fun. The heater gets hot but it comes with gloves.

This is a great purchase. It feels like a high quality experience to make these candles. The kit is very thoughtfully designed, including literally everything you need. The instructions are clear and easy to follow. The fragrance oils are not weak, creating nicely scented candles. For the price, it's hard to beat, considering the size of the candles you can create and the fun evening you'll have making them. I'd highly recommend. Great for a date night or a girl's night. We made 2 candles while watching a movie and have enough supplies to repeat the activity a few more times.
