Let me start off by saying that we can a lot in our home, so this kit went straight to work! Our favorite item in this pink canning kit was the collapsing funnel. We always had issues storing our funnels in our drawers so it is nice that this collapses smaller. They washed in the dishwasher well and haven't shown any signs of rusting. The stickers are easy to rip off and are the perfect size for our canning jars. This is a great kit as it has everything I could think of to use for beginners to make canning easy.

This kit comes with everything you need to can vegetables, or fruit. I was surprised to see it came in my favorite color, pink! Very happy about that. All the canning tools are functional, and easy to use.I love the collapsible funnel, because it fits quart, and pint jars that I use to can in.Great value for the money. I recommend this canning kit.

This canning kit is exactly as it claims – a starter kit. None of the pieces are as professional grade as they could be, but the kit is very good to start with. None of the joints are wobbly, and everything is well made. The jar lifter, perhaps the most important item, is a bit short but will get the job done if you’re at the right height. The tongs and funnel are more than adequate and will do nicely. The lid lifter is a nice extra, unnecessary but certainly nice to have in certain situations. While I don’t usually need such things, the jar wrench will undoubtedly come in handy for opening the tighter jars. The kit also comes with labels that I probably won’t use, as they are a bit old fashioned and not a style I’d use. There is also a headroom measuring tool, or bubble remover, that is unlisted on the sale page but included in the kit. I have yet to master removing the bubbles, but maybe this will help. They fit nicely in the box without having to Tetris them around, so overall I really like this kit.

My previous canning adventures have been mostly successful, using whatever I had available in the utensil drawer to get it done. There are tools in this kit that I never knew existed. The bubble removing tool (I used to leave the bubbles in my canned goods) can also be used to check the headroom before sealing the jar (I never bothered to measure the headroom). The other tools I was able to identify, but never had them all together at one time to use when canning. My old tongs get used for everything, and have become wobbly over the years. No more sharing! The tools arrive in a solid cardboard box, which I will use to keep them all together. It fits nicely in the cupboard next to my canning steamer. All of the tools are either pink silicon or stainless steel with pink silicon coating. The joints move easily but are not wobbly. The jar lifter has black anti-scald handles, necessary since it will actually be reaching into the steam. We have a fairly short growing season, so anything to make canning more efficient and pleasant is a great help. I’m also excited to use the bubble removing tool for more nicer looking jams. State fair, here I come! This is an awesome set of tools, I would highly recommend them if you have lots of canning to do, or you want more professional results.

I haven't used these tools yet because I received them during the week and i have to have a free weekend to make and can my salsa and BBQ sauce.What I do love about this set is that it's got pretty much every thing you need in one kit. I've never really had tools for canning, I just handled everything as carefully as I could and no, I never broke a jar. I thought this might make it easier and maybe a little quicker too so I ordered the set.It reminds me of one of those "first time home owner" tool kits that are trimmed in pretty colors, or a kids gardening tool set. But based on what I can see/feel of the tools right now, I'm really excited to give them a try. I'm just not sure of the quality but once I do get my canning done, I'll update the review.I'm still happy with the set, and the value - and I would suggest this kit to anyone at this point. I guess keeping the price of the kit as a way to gauge the value would be a good way to set your expectations.

This is a decent set of canning accessories. It technically has everything that you need to start, including a jar-grabber, a de-bubbler, a funnel, labels, and any other odds and ends you may need for your canning adventures. I've personally only used the vertical jar-grabber and the lid lifter, as I prefer a stainless steel funnel for hot packing, but this is a good set to start.

Lovely light pink canning accessory kit. Comes with all the basic necessities to start your canning journey. Items are easy to clean and seem to be made well.
