Just like all the other reviewers have said, If you are going to pay for a Canon L Lens, you better might as well get the best filters to protect it. It fits my Canon EF 70-200mm F/2.8L IS II USM perfectly, and has no impact at all on image quality. You can't beat using the official product and after spending alot of money on the Canon EF 100-400mm lens, it just didn't seem right trying to cut back on a cheap filter. This Canon filter fits perfectly and I am 100% happy with it.

I am using it for my Canon 17-55mm F2.8. It has been 1 year. It is perfect and protect my lens from getting dust in to it. Everybody knows that Canon 17-55mm is an awesome and expensive lens. But it has only one blemish on the front element which allows the dust to come inside the lens. So, because this lens is expensive (over $1000), this filter should be in the MUST HAVE LIST. You do not wish to your lens to stop working while you can protect it for only 50 bucks!! Highly recommend it.

I hike and along many trails and occasionally fall while doing so. I purchased this (slightly more expensive) UV protector to try to protect my lens. Well, I fell, hit the camera, and while the UV protector did break, the lens itself came out without a scratch. I will definitely be buying more of these.

If your going to dish out big bucks for a Canon 77mm lens, then why not compliment it with a Canon UV protector. Like I tell so many people who purchase lens or quality stuff, scratch the lens and you will end up spending thousands on the replacement, screen this filter, spend a few dollars on a new filter. I could have chose one of the other brands, but I felt I should keep with names all the same on the lens. The lens was the most expensive thing I bought, I just wanted to make sure everything "fit like a glove". Pricy, but still worth it. Canon rocks!!!!No impact to the quality of the pictures and no issues with placing the len cap on. Very secure!

Bought this filter for my 24-105mm canon lens. The filter fit nicely, didn't need to be taken down to put the hood or the lens cap. So far, has also been satisfied with the images produced even with filter on-- the filter I received was clear. But then I only had this camera and lens for a while. Haven't tested how durable it is if somehow I accidentally dropped my camera but I hope I never have to find out anyway. Will buy again.
