I bought this because I bought a used Canon M50 and it didn't have any lens caps on it. It does cost a tad bit more than just buying directly from the canon website but since those were on backorder and I could get this one the next day, I went for it! This is a perfect fit for my Canon M50! I was a little worried because the model that I have isn't so popular that places sell things just FOR IT, meaning some things are universal. But I'm so happy with my purchase and I will definitely buy again come the need.

I've been having a very tough time finding lens caps. Whenever I buy any cap, they're always very cheap looking. Finding especially this was very tough coz 49mm is hardly available anywhere.This one is perfect & looks authentic too. The press is a little tough but that's okay. Not harmful at all so please buy this one. I've struggled a lot for it.

Got this to replace a lost lens cover. Fits the lens bought for. However, it pops off too easily when I don’t intend to remove it, like when just picking up the lens/camera and I place a finger on it.

I purchased this for an older Canon 50mm lens that I inherited from my mom (the lens is from the 1980's). This cap is too small for it and easily falls off. I have a newer Nikon 50mm that I tried this cap with and it's too small for that lens as well. I tried my Nikon lens cap on the Canon and it's a perfect fit, so I'm definitely going to have some weird mismatched gear until I can get another 50mm lens cap.
