The camera takes great photos. The only problem .. for right now because who knows if something else happens.. is that the battery doesn’t last. I charge the battery completely, place it in the camera, camera turns on. I take a few photos, turn the camera off then turn it back on and it does NOT turn on. I have to put the battery back to charge FULLY so I can use the camera for like 10 mins for it to shut off again. I will buy a new battery. If the new battery is not the issue then I will be returning.UPDATE:I will be returning. The camera is the issue. I bought a new battery and it does the same thing. The battery has to be 100% charged for you to turn the camera on not 99.9% charged. Once you turn the camera off you cannot turn it back on without charging the battery fully again.

I like the 740 which I have had 1.5 years. The shutter got stuck so I ordered this one. However I fixed the damage and the original works fine; so I returned the one I had purchased.

Camera is great for traveling without lugging around a bigger camera.The additional items here are decent. The case is a bigger than I needed, but the USB adapter is great.
