Easy install and works better than the original. I suspect this will last a long time. The brass components are an upgrade.

The pump would not fit Briggs and Stratton without shimming under each leg and filing the leg flange. See picture. Also water connections were on the side rather than the front. The discharge hose couldnt connect to the side discharge due to the washer frame interfering. See picture 2. I was able to get enough clearance by shimming the whole frame and using a 90 degree elbow on the water inlet. The pump works fine now that it is finally on.

I have a Simpson pressure washer that I had replaced the original Honda GCV190 engine on with a Harbor Freight Predator 173cc engine. The shaft sizes on them were different but the Predator had a 7/8" shaft which just happens to match up to this pump. The shaft on the Predator is a bit longer and some had cut the extra length off but I just added a few washers to the bolts as spacers. The mounting holes lined up perfectly.The Predator is rated at 5.5hp and the specs on this pump state it requires 6.5hp but I don't notice any difference. In fact I think it has better pressure and flow than the original pump. I have basically a brand new power washer now for about $350 with a much better pump that anything I would get in that price range! In addition the original pump was a sealed lifetime lubrication unit while this one lets you change the oil.

I picked up a refurbished pressure washer, but it never had the power that I thought it should have had. This pump bolted right up. I can’t try it out yet since it’s below zero in these parts, but it sure looks like it'll correct the problem.

This pressure washer pump is probably 3x as strong as the one that came off of my Craftsman pressure washer, and that's saying something! Also the weight of the new pump, is almost double the weight of the old pump because it is so strong. This pressure washer unit can push out 2.5 gallons per minute, which means more pressure at the nozzle.Because there are different types of pressure washers that this will be going on, you may have to shim the legs with a couple of washers to get it to fit to your unit. Mine took 3 small washers, this is because of the different measurements of the various units out there. I am very impressed with the build quality, and it is much better than described! I highly recommend!

Great replacement vertical pump.My old pump was tired so I replaced with this. If your engine is good, replace the pump. Higher quality than the one it replaced.The owner's in the package was the wrong one. I reached out to the manufacturer and the emailed one right away.I would recommend this pump and company.
